The average daily value of transfers over the Fedwire Funds Service is approximately $2.7 trillion.Responsibilities included managing a large team of IT developers, QA testers and Business Analysts to help complete the modernization of the Fedwire system from an IBM mainframe based environment to a modern J2EE architecture. 2008 - 2012Led the development efforts of a multi-year initiative to modernize the main frame based system for government wide accounting group managed by BFS (Bureau of Fiscal Service), the primary financial division of the Department Of Treasury. The system (Central Accounting and Reporting System) handles accounting and reporting for all federal agencies. The modernized system is live and used by agencies, resulting in cost savings of hundreds of millions of dollars to the US Federal Government

Responsibilities include managing the technology team and hands on development of the J2EE application (including design and development of SOA based architecture using Spring 2.0, Hibernate 3.0, Axis 2.0, Oracle BPEL, Spring MVC, Weblogic 9.1 and Oracle 10G ). • Led the technology team in the acquisition of the corporate domains platform of Register.com – responsibilities included detailed technical analysis and due diligence of the various platforms, leading the integration of the acquired platform into current line of CSC’s applications, managing the day to day operations of the J2EE based (EJB, Sonic MQ, JBoss, Oracle 8i, Axis 1.0) platform. Received the CSC Leadership award for 2007.
