The Divest / Invest Forum helps urban leaders, cities and pension funds protect their investments from climate-related risks and take advantage of the financial opportunities presented by the world’s transition towards a green economy. This includes supporting cities to divest from fossil fuels and leading the innovation of new mechanism for cities to drive sustainable investment, focusing on shifting investment towards climate solutions, promoting portfolio decarbonisations, and identifying opportunities to collaborate with private sector and philanthropic organisations to unlock institutional investment for climate action in cities.

Assisting the EUSS Project (as part of BCC's Brexit Readiness Programme):• Coordination of the grant funded activities and Council’s EU Settlement Scheme related actions.• Preparation and implementation of the ID Scanning Service in Birmingham.Supporting EU funded projects with:• Designing and providing content: publications, websites, newsletters, brochures... etc. • Finance: checking invoices and payments, reviewing claim forms, applying EU regulations to project activities and outputs.• Event Management: workshops, seminars, conference, citizenship ceremonies... etc.• Involved in: Birmingham Commonwealth Association (BCA), Birmingham City Council Candidacy for Eurocities 2020, Young Women into Leadership initiative (You WIL), Urban M, USE-IT, BETTER Project, and Pure Project.
