Full service grocery company with three full-service locations and one smaller food market in the Upper Valley of New Hampshire/Vermont. Heavy emphasis on natural, organic and local products. One of three key executives involved in all aspects of managing Co-op business, including strategic planning and direction. In addition to overall financial responsibility for company, directly oversaw all IT functions, and was responsible for risk management and all legal aspects of business.

Boutique investment banking firm providing merger and acquisition services for small-to-medium sized privately held businesses ($2M - $50M in annual revenues). Spearhead full range of M&A services, including positioning client companies for sale, creating financial models and forecasting, authoring marketing documents, identifying and contacting potential buyers/sellers and negotiating letters of intent. Coordinate due diligence, guide drafting of legal documentation, and manage transaction closing. Led firm’s turnaround consulting practice. Spearheaded launch of new business line offering turnaround analysis services. Introduced dynamic international practice as part of comprehensive marketing effort.

Oversaw the review and submission of financial data to senior management, coordinated annual audits and tax submissions, converted financial statements to IAS and managed risk management activities. Led legal affairs and all M&A activities as well as corporate treasury functions. Operated as Trustee / Fiduciary for North American 401k plan while serving on boards of operational companies. Assumed full general management accountability for financial, administrative and IT aspects of largest operating subsidiary associated with efforts to turnaround underperforming operations.

Accountable for 33-person finance department of $2B subsidiary of General Motors Europe in Paris France including accounting, receivables, payables, pricing, purchasing, IT, dealer audit, risk management and internal controls. Oversaw creation of monthly financial reports / statements, monthly variance analyses, and vehicle / parts pricing including marketing campaigns, procurement, IT for both internal company and dealer network (over 200 dealers throughout France and the French speaking world, excluding Canada).

Charged with implementing a GM presence within a Renault engineering facility for a vehicle development and manufacturing joint venture in Paris, France. Managed the development including overseeing a $260M development budget as well as $75M in annual accounts payable / receivable between the joint venture partners.

Zürich Area, Switzerland

Spearheaded three-person department at European headquarters tasked with developing advance vehicle pricing within Europe for all new vehicle introductions as well as all imported/re-badged vehicles. Simultaneously appointed to nine-person team negotiating a joint-venture agreement with Renault.

Frankfurt Am Main Area, Germany

Oversaw seven-person department in Ruesselsheim, Germany accountable for ensuring pricing of all part numbers were completed timely and that pricing issues were resolved. Managed a 75,000 part number portfolio of engine and exhaust parts for all vehicles out of production, in-production and coming to production spanning 19 European markets.
