I am an experienced director with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry. I have assumed the roles of leader, negotiator, tactician and moderator in my leadership roles within UnitedHealthcare. I've been within the healthcare insurance world for over 30 years. The majority of this time has been supporting network activities including Network Management/Contracting, Provider Relations and the last eleven years in Network Operations. I have deep experience leading cross functional work groups that drive process improvement within existing programs and implementation of new program/initiatives and a strong advocate for efficient and effective operational processes and always on the lookout for ways to improve the way we work.Today, I lead a National Programs, Policy and Operations team which has accountability for achieving national and cross-organizational annual goals while also managing policies for UnitedHealth Network teams which provide the infrastructure and guidance for how we do our jobs.
