Based on a 30 years professional experience in QC/QA as well as industrial R&D in different sectors of mining, construction and ceramics, we have founded in.mat-Lab (est. 2016), covering the value chain of services in the sector of industrial minerals and their applications, highly specialized on perlite, bentonite and pozzolans applications.Our services include consulting, technical support and R&D all over the world.We have installed a worldwide unique and specialized laboratory for perlite which has a multi-task lab furnace for perlite expansion, targeting to provide analytical data regarding perlite’s properties and characteristics for its use and possible applications. We evaluate the effects that a change in quality, supplier, formulation, or manufacturing process may have on final products and with our high expertise in the field of industrial minerals, using also the testing and analyses data from assigned specific evaluation schemes, we can provide precise Value-to-Client Analysis (VTCA).Furthermore, we have also designed, constructed, tested and already operating our new MS-Module for perlite microspheres production (lab scale gas expansion furnace). This is one more step for better understanding this multi-purpose mineral and achieving our targets for R&D and clients support.
