During my time as lead teacher I worked closely with administration asthe head of training for new teachers. I was also put in charge ofcreating a nature-based educator conference that teachers from all overthe city of San Antonio attended. It was my goal as an educator to createopportunities for professional development and training opportunitiesfor staff while also using strong communication skills to create a senseof community among children and families in my classroom.

I taught Reading and Social Studies to 5th grade, using a variety oforganizational skills, communication techniques, and extensivedocumentation.

As an Academic Tutor for student athletes at UTSA I assisted students in developing useful study techniques, time management skills, and worked with students to increase comprehension in various subjects.

As an administrative assistant I answered phones, scheduled and coordinated meetings, collected and distributed mail, printed/faxed/scanned legal documents.
