The Brisbane Dams Team at GHD is one of the highest performing and most respected consultancy teams in Australia. Amanda is the lead structural engineer in this team, and has been instrumental in growing the structural engineering aspect of the dams business since she joined them in July 2010. The Structural Pod in the Dams Team is now eight people strong, covering all aspects of dams structural engineering.Amanda herself is a proven Project Director, Project Manager and Design Manager, delivering some particularly high profile projects in South East Queensland, from the detailed design for the upgrade of Leslie Harrison Dam for Seqwater (PM and DM), to a comprehensive stability assessment and concept options study for North Pine Dam for Seqwater (again PM and DM). She was also the lead structural engineer for the successful tender design for Ruataniwha Dam in New Zealand. She has been involved in numerous other assessments and upgrades both in Australia and overseas.Earlier experience prior to joining the Brisbane Dams Team included bridges and offshore structures.
