I have been the senior director of marketing and communications at the University of Utah's Technology Licensing Office since 2022 and with the U since 2016. I lead a team responsible for developing branding, marketing, and communication strategies to advance the U’s innovation ecosystem, through the sharing of effective practices and ideas related to technology licensing and commercialization. My focus is on collaborating and working together with partners to achieve a shared strategic vision to advance university discoveries that improve lives and benefit society. Prior to joining the U, I was a freelance marketing and communications consultant, freelance editor, and writer, and have written and published articles on healthcare, environmentalism, business, economics, the outdoor recreation industry, sustainable farming practices, and culinary arts.
