As a Brand Ambassador or Promotional Model my job is to educate consumers and drive sales. I am contracted by a client (such as Miller/Coors, JIm Beam, Voli Vodka, etc.) and am given training material to study the brand specifically having selling points which will make consumers enthusiastic about the product. Often I will distribute samples, following the rules set by ABC, as well as promotional items. These items range from hats, tee shirts, stickers, key chains, etc. and engage consumers and enhance the brand image, by creating more exposure. There is a report which will include sales numbers, photographs, and a recap of the event.

Working as a Brand Ambassador, also given the title of Promotional Model, I go on location and promote a specific product. With this agency I represent Jack Daniels, Southern Comfort, Tuaca, Chambord, El Jimador, and Herradura Tequila. The accounts have us sample the beverage to consumers folowing all rules and regulations set by ABC. We are to create awareness for the beverage and increase sales. Aside from the samples of the beverages we have promotional items which are also to give a visual image of the brand and are given out to those drinking the selected drink. The items range from stickers, tee shirts, hats, key chains. There is a report due the following day with a recap of the event, the quantity of promo items and samples distributed, and photographs.

Started as a commissioned employee and once I built my clientele I become a business owner. I rent a station out of Fringes Salon and an working independently now. I control my appointments, track client records and finances, organize work area and all supplies. It has been an amazing transformation and has helped mature me by reinforcing the need to be organized and a self-starter. I love my job as a stylist and think that the knowledge I have gained from my college courses, specifically public relations, have helped me to build a better business.

I am an Account Executive at a full-service advertising agency, specializing in event marketing. I help clients with their business with a specific marketing plan which will increase awareness, drive sales, and generate revenue for the business. We will work together to ensure cohesiveness and trust. Communication between the client and media outlets will be handled by myself.I left the company to pursue my goals of moving to Southern California. I valued the business connections I made, but once my heart wasn't in Sacramento I left the company.

This was a part-time job I had during college and it helped me sharpen sales skills by setting goals and reaching them. It was commission-based, and I was able to reach weekly goals. We were in charge of opening and closing the salon, maintaining cleanliness, having customer service skills, product knowledge, and following guidelines set forth by the company. It was a short job because there was a jump in my college units and also running a station in a salon this was temporary from the beginning.
