This plays well to my organisation skills as I manage different events to help raise funds for the school. My daughters especially love seeing me dressed as one of Santa‘s elves at Christmas. With my family I love getting out in the fresh air, holidays and family dinners or any excuse for a get together in our house.

I was a Change Analyst on the HR Systems and Change team for 2 years. This was a great opportunity for me to enhance and put my existing skills and knowledge to work on the other side of the house. One of my first and largest change projects was moving from SAP 4.7 to ERP 6.0 where I managed the Business Acceptance Testing of Core HR. This was the largest HR change since the implementation of SAP as it involved upgrading our SAP system, changing our online system as well as automating a number of forms. We used HP Quality Centre to log errors so I learned how to use it and then trained all the testers in the new tool.Addition projects I managed were two large Inland Revenue initiatives called Real Time Information (RTI) and Pension Auto enrolment (PAE) and regular ones such as SAP ROI Support/Enhancement Packs, ROI Budgets and UK Budgets. As part of PAE I completed a vast amount of the testing to assist UK Pensions. My last project was to manage the development and design of five new e-forms for our HR Online system. In addition to projects I reviewed current processes and in some instances wrote a process and for others I re-wrote them. Namely I put an approval process in place across the team to ensure all changes were captured and signed off for Audit. I also streamlined a very cumbersome Sox audit that went across all Users of the SAP HR system and took ownership for it.

While in HR and Payroll, I held some key roles. In my last role I managed a team of 13 staff with 10 Payrolls (weekly and monthly) across two jurisdictions (ROI & GB) – approx 20,000 payslips a month at our peak. During this time I challenged existing processes and as a result merged the Payroll and Accounts Finance teams, streamlined processes, went from 50 to 30 accounts, worked through historic accounts and recouped circa e200k on behalf of the bank. Additional responsibilities within my roles included: managing additional teams across HR, most notably I managed an additional team of four on the exit/leave team for six months; creation of Operational Level Agreements to make our interactions more streamlined and efficient; Review and update Service Level agreements; managed the largest Payroll Audit which lasted 10 weeks with Group Internal Audit; liaised quarterly with Group Tax to keep abreast of changes, to update processes and raise any concerns I had; managed the Payroll divestment of Goodbody Stockbrokers and National Irish Bank; Wrote under/overpayment policies and calculated these payments on a daily basis; Managed the change agenda for payroll which involved managing any changes affecting the Payroll system from initial meetings, to testing and then sign off; Managed Performance Reviews for team; - Highlighted Payroll Awareness through Information Days, Payroll Day and Wallet Inserts for staff; Attended regular IPASS update days and courses to keep abreast of changes to HR and Payroll; Attended SAP Special Interest Group to keep up to date on changes to the system; Trained new and existing staff; Updated the internal Internet for HR and Payroll; Managed and approved the keying of items to Payroll such as overtime, payments, tax certificates, P45’s and student loans.
