One of my passions is most definitely my passionate hatred for talking about myself. I'll do my best to put that passion aside in order to give you a glimpse into the rest of them. In true organization-lover fashion, here are a few things that make me, well.... me! 1. I've always had a strong love for exercise, but not in a "gym-junkie" kind of way. Even as a young teenager, I was passionate about proper exercise technique, safety, and efficacy. While I've given thought to different career titles through the years, I've never wavered from a core of exercise science. 2. I'm probably one of the few people that I know that loves paperwork. I find sitting at a desk alone, crunching numbers, solving problems or putting together a report to be relaxing and rewarding. This side of me is what led me to pursue an MBA. 3. I'm very organized. When I put something together, there is a high likelihood that it is alphabetized, categorized, color-coded and/or in chronological order. I "see" and comprehend information best when it is in order. I feel accomplished when I am able to establish order in chaos. 4. I thrive when working independently and grow when working as a part of a team. When I am with others, I listen, learn, and I take in all of the information and knowledge from others that I can. When I am working alone, I implement and experiment with the things I have learned from others. These moments are when some of my best work is accomplished.5. I am my own worst critic, but I am also my own biggest cheerleader. You will probably never hear me say that I "can't" do something. There are a lot of things that I haven't done yet, but I am capable of learning anything.
