About Amanda Cockerham

I spent this past summer doing independent research with some professors in the Kinesiology department and working as a circuit coach at a local health club. I am still unsure of what lies ahead when I graduate next August, but somewhere in the crowds, chaos, and classrooms we call campus is the answer. I have a passion for research and exercise physiology excites me.I enjoy knowledge in all aspects. I am willing to learn and execute any task set before me. Variety keeps my creativity alive and allows me to use all of my talents to the fullest. Even though my passion lies with healthcare, it is not specific to only clinical settings. I enjoy research, blogging, creating flyers or documents, organizing events, and modifying recipes to incorporate healthy ingredients. I am excited, inventive, and passionate. A combination, which I feel, can accomplish any task. Next summer, I will complete a 300 hour internship before graduating. Through networking, I hope to find a great place to land an internship. I have a strong interest in Exercise Physiology from a research or clinical standpoint. I also have a heart for pediatrics.
