Processing Leave of Absence Requests, Utilizing FMLA guidelines: reviewing query of hours worked/hours paid, determining medical condition or situation qualifies for a Leave of AbsenceReviewing Medical Certification to determine eligibility to approve or deny a leave of absence Working with payroll (gathering payroll options), HRIS (adding/change/end leave dates), Benefits (add dependents, premium payments on leave) to coordinate leave information is accurate. Daily review of Leave of Absence HRIS Audits: Audit changes to leave status, end dates of leave- returning caregivers into Peoplesoft, Reviewing Task Reports. Providing Human Resources support to employees, assisting employees and managers with questions regarding Human Resources policies, practices, tools and processes. Records and tracks issues via the case management tool, tracking from initiation to resolution, escalating issues and seeking advice when needed. Responds to escalated inquiries into the Human Resources Service Center via telephone, website or email utilizing all available tools and resources. Utilizes procedures, policies, PeopleSoft and other reference materials to assist in answering employee/manager inquiries and resolving issues. Documents incoming calls using a case management tool to resolve issues within identified service level agreements. Partners with appropriate functional teams and HRIS on the customer's behalf to ensure the timeliest service. Identifies and implements process and procedure improvement opportunities. Provides feedback and recommended updates to tools, job aids, scripts and standard operating procedures as well as other communications and content.Facilitates programs and serves as liaison between external and internal customers and vendors.Provides assistance on navigating internal resources on self-service and Human Resources technology tools.
