Strategic assessments required coordination of multiple government agencies within the IC to share and understand emerging drug trafficking trends. Data collected within the CCDB , in conjunction with data collected by CBP and other sources, revealed a worldwide picture that provided information necessary for strategic assessment.•Coordinated and (when needed) facilitated a monthly interagency working group to discuss emerging precursor and narcotic drug trends.
