Civilian was responsible for building and maintaining the database and used tools including SAP Business Intelligence.•Responsible for vetting and processing open source and classified narcotic related intelligence reports. •Participated in vetting conferences with multiple agencies in the counter- narcotic community to discuss and analyze illicit activity, and determine reportable thresholds.•Developed strategic interagency assessments to assist with development of operational policies and procedures. Strategic assessments required coordination of multiple government agencies within the IC to share and understand emerging drug trafficking trends. Data collected within the CCDB , in conjunction with data collected by CBP and other sources, revealed a worldwide picture that provided information necessary for strategic assessment.•Coordinated and (when needed) facilitated a monthly interagency working group to discuss emerging precursor and narcotic drug trends.
