Clinical Performance Leadership Nurse
CurrentAs a CPN I participate in daily workflows, advocate for patient goals in the care plan, and ensure communication throughout the care team as the patient moves through their hospital stay. My mission is to improve the quality of health care even after the patient is discharged.As a CPN, I am an essential multidisciplinary team member who partners with the medical director to engage and educate, and oversee a team of hospitalist physicians and APPs in quality and process improvement initiatives while using key metrics software to measure and track performance outcomes.Being a CPN requires maintaining excellent attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. This role requires strong clinical knowledge and experience in the acute care hospital setting giving me the ability to assess a patient’s clinical status and readiness for discharge is essential. As a CPN I am an essential member of the leadership team responsible for driving clinical performance and implementing process improvement. I am involved in various hospital committees, and present information my findings about the team’s quality data to hospital leadership regularly. A Multifaceted Role on the Hospitalist Team
