I am a recent graduate of Clark University, with a B.A in Global Environmental Studies, magna cum laude. My work experience includes urban and rural sustainable agriculture, mycology, mushroom and plant ID, environmental education, animal care, large animal husbandry, grant writing, and non-profit community organization. Some skills that I am proficient in are Microsoft Office, Google Suites, Constant Contact, and social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and MetaSuite. I have taken American Sign Language and have a basic knowledge and ability to use it in conversation, and I am currently learning Spanish. I have also completed my EMT-B certification and I am First Aid and CPR certified. I apply my knowledge and experiences in medicine, nature, agriculture, and graphic design in my work as an artist, which is focused on organic interpretations of life cycles, natural patterns, and themes of mortality, rebirth, and resiliency. I am also a member of the New England Watercolor Society and Boston Mycological Club. I am a 2020 Coca-Cola Scholar and 2020 Horatio Alger National Scholar. Other awards I have also received are the 2023 Marsh Institute Geller Student Research Fellowship Award for Sustainability, 2019 Silver Congressional Award, 2019-2020 Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen award, a Gold Presidential Award (for over 550 hours of community service), a 2019 Prudential Spirit Award (Girl Scouts of Eastern Mass), and a 2017 Girl Scout Gold Award for my project "Art in a Bag" and the creation of the non-profit, Art Angels, which provides free, age-appropriate art supplies for underprivileged children and young adults ages 2-20 visiting food pantries.
