I have over 25 years of experience solving complex policy problems and developing legislative solutions covering a range of issues such as, busways and light rail, emergency services, prisoners, parole and the management of dangerous sexual offenders, early childhood education and care, schooling, vocational education and training and higher education.I am an experienced senior executive of over 17 years, leading multi-disciplinary teams providing governance support for statutory entities, corporate support, administration of significant funding for non-state schools (recurrent and capital of $908.1m in 21-22) and two funding programs for students with disability ($20 million approximately), significant and minor legislative reform, and ministerial and executive support services.I also gained experience in organisational design and change management as part of a small team leading the implementation of the then Director-General's vision for the department in 2014.
