Solid experience with financial statements audit of multinational companies in accordance with BRGAAP, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standard on Auditing (ISA), having also performed audits in accordance with Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) requirements. Mainly focused on financial reporting in the Oil & Gas Industry. Main attributions:- Plan, execute and review audit procedures, test of details, controls and other audit procedures (physical inventories, external confirmations and others) on financial statements and/or interoffice reports;- Completing audit processes and documenting higher-risk areas including significant accounting estimates and discounted cash flow, exploration and evaluation of mineral resources, leases liabilities and financial instruments;- Assessment of internal controls environment, analysis of specific risks associated with the company’s business based on the COSO methodology for planning audit strategy purposes;- Collaborate with other PwC international offices (Houston, London, Madrid, Australia, Thailand and others) and provide support to group engagement audits;- Quarterly review procedures, limited reviews and previously agreed procedures;- Preliminary review of financial statements, reports, memos and other deliverables;- Leading fieldwork, managing performance and keeping engagement leaders updated on audit engagements,as well as conducting meetings to discuss significant accounting matters with client’s senior management;- Team management and coaching aligned with the firm's values, audit methodology and accounting standards;- Interface with others business line, such as IT, Tax and Valuation specialists.
