Patient Service Specialist
Current- Customer Service: answer phone lines for the Orthopedic, Neurology, Pain Management, Neuro Surgery, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation departments in a prompt and courteous manner, and handle appropriately.
- Registration: collect, maintain and insure accuracy of patient and insurance information through the use of standard business practices.
- Scheduling: understand visit types and proper utilization of questionnaires to efficiently schedule appointments.
- Collect co-payments and outstanding balances over the phone
- Communication: daily management of electronic communication (Outlook messages, WebXchange, EPIC messages, Telephone Encounters).
- Mailing of appointment reminder letters with appropriate packets as assigned.
