In this position I am responsible for all aspects of order management for the entire company. Key work flows include; filtering through customer orders for errors, compiling purchase orders, forecasting product stock needs, continuous communication with vendors, receiving and allocating product to customer orders, and managing other staff members, along with their assigned tasks. In addition, I orchestrate our freight shipments, tracking logistics from domestic and international vendors. Throughout my time at Baby Grand I have implemented processes and protocols for processing weborder sales, as well as rolled out an updated POS and inventory system.

Worked directly with EDG’s curatorial and design staff, to prepare exhibit proposals including; conducting research, compiling object lists, and communicating with clients about expectations for exhibitions. In addition I supported the staff with administrative work, researching opportunities at new museums, updating their mailing lists, and serving as point of contact for multiple ongoing exhibition projects.

Worked in a fast-paced environment with time deadlines and high quality assurance. Began by packing customers’ products, but then was soon trained in “problem solving,”- a position requiring use of Amazon’s many order management systems to troubleshoot and solve issues with customer orders and shipments.

Was responsible for helping customers with returns, exchanges, service orders, trade-ins, and any issue customers might need assistance with. While working on this team I strived to give my best and learn quickly. That type of work soon gained me the position of team-lead (a leader in the team that fellow associates could go to in need of guidance or advice on how to handle a customer issue).
