I worked with multiple animal models for pharmacokinetic, toxicology, and genetic toxicology studies. As a member of the toxicology and LAMD vet care staff I work within the ABSL- 1, ABSL-2 and ABSL-3 facilities to maintain and monitor the health of each individual animal throughout the study in compliance with the assigned IACUC protocol. I am proficient in multiple dosing methods including: subcutaneous, intramuscular, intravenous, oral gavage, and intraperitoneal injections. I am also responsible for collecting blood via the retro orbital sinus, jvc ports, submandibular veins, cardiac puncture, vena cava, and tail vein bleeds on multiple species. I worked within the multilayered assessment of Bridgewater College’s sustainability throughout each department on campus. My tasks included interviewing department heads, identifying education in environmental techniques and collaborating with the investment committee to allocate a larger percentage of money to sustainable companies.
