With a background in Communications and Social Psychology, I started my professional career in the non-profit sector, where I learned the importance of listening hard and changing fast. There, my primary responsibilities were based around supporting local hunger relief organizations, and I became an advocate for the relationships formed along the way. Always a helping hand, I stepped into taking over our marketing efforts, which led me to utilizing (then joining) Mailchimp.I am often looked by senior management of various departments, for my ability to address both the agent’s and user’s needs with encouragement and respect. I work through feedback and issues to their root, to find mutual understanding. I find value in the journey of troubleshooting with agents in a way that’s digestible for them, knowing that it will give them a foundation moving forward to help themselves and others in the future.I have a passion for indulging my curiosity - looking to where I can be most helpful as the company transitioned from email marketing to domains, postcards, websites, integrations, and more. I have pivoted from Support Agent to Specialist to Technical Support Engineer, working cross-functionally to engage, challenge, and learn along the way.
