Oversee projects that promote the recruitment of personnel to the School District of Lee County. Initiatives include filling the career changer pipeline, teacher apprenticeship, and para to teacher pathways. My lead role is the selection, placement, and retention of international exchange teachers through partnership with a visa sponsor.

Proudly serving in the Human Resource Department in Recruitment. I assist in the development and organization of recruitment materials, visit college campuses and career fairs, and make personal connections with future educators in the process of starting their career. I analyze the current vacancies, and communicate regularly with school-based personnel, to best provide viable candidates to the leadership team. Ultimately, it is my goal to provide excellent service, both to the candidate and the hiring manager, while fully contributing to the productivity of our department.

Managed budgets, created requisitions, and paid vendors with financial software including Oracle PeopleSoft and Manatee. Routinely maintained a complete and systematic set of records for all financial transactions, and consistently met department deadlines.

Created staff schedules, organized and advertised group events, motivated and encouraged others towards their goals.

Earned high marks for the quality, creativity, and execution of classroom teaching, lesson plans, and instructional materials used in teaching diverse subjects. Working on a team, we developed and delivered curriculum trainings at the local and district level that were repeatedly held as the model standard for meeting district goals in the areas of writing and literacy. I collaborated with a variety of school committees and task forces focused on student achievement, curriculum development, textbook review, fundraising, and school improvement. Most importantly, I proudly cultivated positive relationships with students, parents, fellow teachers, school administrators/staff as well as district personnel.
