On exit surveys 89% of teachers reported that Springboard helped them grow as a professional and 97% of parents responded they know how to help their child make progress in reading.-Managed cross-functional relationships with engineering, subject matter experts, business owners and the program implementation teams. Deepened product knowledge among internal stakeholders by facilitating enablements throughout the year.-Hosted webinars to preview the product to potential partners to support company growth. Generated 700 leads for the sales team.

-Developed family-facing resources--from crafting strategic themes aligned to learning standards and user surveys to initial design to rounds of focus groups and iteration to delivery of final product. -Resources included 54 turn-key family workshops, recruitment and enrollment materials, and learning content for an at-home literacy app for the families of K-3rd students. -Family workshop attendance averaged 88% and 97% teachers reported family workshops helped them build relationships with their students’ families.

-Provided one-on-one coaching to family engagement teams at schools in the Family Friendly Schools network. -Developed materials, programs, and presentations for Family Friendly Schools.

-Designed, launched and wrote all the content for BuildingtheBridge.org—an online resource dedicated to helping all schools and all families work together better so all kids can learn more. -Appeared on several podcasts as an expert in creating relationships between families and teachers.

-Created student text sets and lesson plans to support the Read-Aloud Project texts for grades K-2. -Assisted with internal curriculum reviews.

-Reviewed ELA materials to find and refine excellent curricula.

-Worked with a team of educators to develop the second generation of differentiated ELA curriculum for grades 3-5. -Served as lead writer of the Additional Language and Literacy (ALL) Block which provides specific support for all learners, including those with limited English language proficiency.-Led a team of Science educators to develop a 3-5 grade Science curriculum to complement the ELA curriculum and aligned to the NGSS standards.-Worked on a team of educators to develop a 6th and 9th grade Social Studies curriculum which integrates Social Justice with Geography and World History. Developed and co-led professional development to implement the curriculum.

-Wrote 7th grade Language Arts curriculum used throughout New York state and in every public school in New York City.

-Designed and taught various creative writing and literacy classes at local libraries including Creative Writing for Grade-schoolers, Writing Your College Entrance Essay, Reading to Your Children, Spanish Story Time for Toddlers, and Preschool Story Time.

-Developed and taught American Literature, British Literature, AP Language and Literature, and Creative Writing. -Mentored the award-winning student publication, Sin Fronteras, and designed and initiated the first schoolwide Senior Exit Project in school history.

-Developed and taught World Literature and American Literature standards-aligned curriculum. -Led the department in aligning all our English curriculum to standards and vertically across the department. -Mentored three student teachers from UC Berkeley, coached girls volleyball and started a boys volleyball program.
