▪ Input new and existing patient information into the computer system. ▪ Schedule patients for surgery. ▪ Call patients and inform them of pre-surgery instructions. ▪ Organize paperwork needed for surgery. ▪ File and pull information needed for insurance. ▪ Order office supplies and process invoices. ▪ Put away medical supplies when they come in. ▪ Take payment in person or over the phone. ▪ Balance money till and process daily deposit. ▪ Open office for daily use. ▪ Schedule appointments for medical representatives. ▪ On Call 24 hrs a day for basic questions regarding surgery pre-op instructions, times and post-op questions. ▪ Substitute Scrub technician. ▪ Assist with YAGs and SLTs. ▪ Help set up Operating Rooms for surgery and help scrub technicians set up their tables for surgery. ▪ Help break down the Operating Rooms between cases. ▪ Any other duties asked of me.
