I will be working on consulting projects for Oregon and North Carolina's Medicaid waiver programs to promote health equity, whole person care, and value based financing.

• Consulted for Quantified Ventures and designed financial models for community providers who offer behavioral health support services through California’s Medicaid waiver program• Executed capacity building for The BRIC by operationalizing plans for national expansion; developed contracts, communication materials, and action plans for pilot with 2 new hospitals • Led strategic planning process for The T STL– crafted new equity-centered mission and vision, conducted focus groups, and presented recommendations to c-suite leaders • Partnered with East Side Aligned on coalition building efforts and project management to promote youth mental health

• Directed regional initiatives for the RHC, a quasi-governmental nonprofit improves health equity and ran Missouri’s Medicaid waiver program • Helped launch Bullet Related Injury Clinic by leading planning process with 60 stakeholders, securing funding, and establishing budget, evaluation metrics, and referral process across 5 hospitals and 15 community partners; pilot showed recruitment and retention rates 2x national average• Integrated physical therapy into 5 FQHCs – built a clinical model with budget, staffing plans, and evaluation and obtained $150K annual federal funding; expanded PT access to 168,000 patients • Optimized referrals from all St. Louis FQHCs for specialty care pain services; co-developed hospital’s triage process and reduced wait time for Orthopedics by 7 months for 20,000 safety-net patients• Directed a regional initiative on chronic pain and supervised 9 interns • Bolstered an equitable regional response to COVID by securing $1M grant and publishing article

• Managed evaluation for a $30 million Medicaid waiver program, covering 70,000 uninsured patients; developed evaluation metrics, analyzed data, and reported outcomes to the State of Missouri and CMS• Executed a communications campaign about equitable chronic pain treatment and trained 500 providers on implicit bias and trauma-informed care; invited to lecture at 10+ medical schools, hospitals, and clinics• Launched health equity advocacy efforts by building a strategic framework, forming a policy committee, and drafting policy briefs; helped pass Medicaid expansion to get coverage for 275,000 Missourians• Oversaw a collaborative, regional planning process with 50 partners to facilitate research, evaluation, and decision-making about the St. Louis behavioral health care safety net system

• Led research project analyzing cultural competency of Arica Hospital's birthing program for the Aymara indigenous group by conducting 50 interviews, literature review of 100+ articles, and gap analysis• Presented program recommendations to U.S. Embassy, public health experts, and government officials

• Developed and implemented a community engagement strategy about trauma-informed care by overseeing 240 volunteers and 15 organizational partners; doubled volunteers in 9 months• Co-created a new trauma awareness training curriculum and trained 1,000 health care professionals

• Studied infections of the placenta as a source of preterm birth in pregnant women by managing and analyzing data using excel-based software programs• Presented poster at 2nd Annual Global Health and Infectious Disease Conference, WUSTL Institute for Public Health
