Through the delivery of proven outdoor fitness activities, including Nordic Walking as well as walking without poles, WALX-Leicester East strives to help people improve their health and fitness. We offer classes and activities in the fresh air with sessions available at times and in locations to suit everyone. Our activities are sociable and community-orientated and delivered by fitness instructors who are trained to help you along your journey to a healthier life.For those with health concerns we provide programmes for rehabilitation and offer GP exercise referral classes.Amanda is a former academic, with extensive experience delivering biomedical services to the higher education sector. She is a strong business development professional with a degree and PhD in physiology.
