Amanda Jacobs is the owner and designer of interior design house, Amanda Jacobs Design, based in Louisville, KY. At AJD, comprehensive design services are offered for commercial and residential clients, curating warm, inviting, and memorable spaces for individuals and the public to experience. Amanda uses a foundation of unique concepts, and striking or unexpected pieces, rooted in colors of the earth. Antiques and modern objects intermingle to turn old spaces into something new and personally expressive. Over the course of her projects, she draws upon the client’s personality and needs, mementos from their travels, traditions and culture. With a design degree from Sullivan University, her extensive skills and resources, and her client’s involvement along the way, she creates spaces that feel collected over time and inherently livable. Using harmonies of rich colors, art, texture, and touches of old world beauty, she originates symphonies that touch the heart and evoke emotion. With an emphasis on creating environments that balance warmth, solace, and sophistication, Amanda composes spaces that are both timeless and distinct.
