As CMF's director of communications, I lead CMF’s strategic communications, managing all internal and external communications, leveraging CMF's thought leadership and expertise with our state and national partners, policymakers and the media and providing executive communications support - all in alignment with CMF's Equity at the Center Strategic Framework. As a former Emmy nominated and award-winning television news reporter and anchor I worked in newsrooms across the country for over a decade covering state and national politics, the justice system, health care, education and breaking news events. I'm thrilled to infuse my passion for storytelling and comms for good into my role at CMF, amplifying stories of how Michigan philanthropy is advancing efforts toward a more equitable Michigan for all.
