I am the receptionist and back up legal assistant. I answer phones, greet clients, and help the legal assistants when they are backed up with their work.

I have been working for the past year with youth who have behavioral and mental health challenges at Cunningham Children’s Home in Urbana IL. I assist the youth in their program to address significant behavioral and mental healthy challenges. I work directly with children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting. I completed 40 hour training to the Illinois Coalition Against Sexual Assault in order to have the ability and qualifications to volunteer. I provided high schools and junior high schools with information on body safety, abusive and healthy dating relationships, awareness and prevention of sexual abuse, assault, and harassment. SACIS provides a 24 hour crisis hotline for immediate contact, information, assistance and support to victims and significant others which I also engaged in volunteering.

I began as a receptionist in the legal office. I answered and directed telephone calls, typed legal documents, and maintained a schedule.
