Helped design and develop the Islander Center, a 135-acre residential learning facility and organic farm. Registered as a BOI company in 2009. Developed sustainable sourcing services to link organic and fair trade companies with small-scale producers.

Supported strategic planning and program development during the tsunami recovery and civil war as the organization expanded from 300 staff to 1,200 staff in 22 districts. Recruited staff and designed training programs and workshops with a focus on community organizing, rural livelihood services, and social enterprise. Organized study visits and international exchanges. Developed policy documents, concept papers, proposals and evaluation reports.

Designed and taught courses for university students and professors. Developed an ecotourism training program. Recruited and hired contract teachers. Developed curriculum and teacher manuals for 3 semester-length courses. Wrote a text book required for all first-year students in the 5 southern Rajabhat Universities.
