At Mydoh, a money management app for families, I have grown our organic traffic tenfold and published stories beyond finance 101 to help teens understand topics such as period poverty, the racial wage gap, and emotional spending.As Managing Editor of Toronto.com, I oversaw the best of what to eat, do, and see in Toronto —whether that be where to find the best pad thai, where to take your Tinder date, and where you can learn to dance like Beyoncé.Previously, I worked in communications in arts and culture where I was fortunate enough to work with bold faced names at the Toronto International Film Festival, venture inside the Royal Ontario Museum’s famous bug room, and wrangle media as J.K. Rowling read from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire at Toronto’s Skydome back in the day.As a freelance journalist, my work has been published in Chatelaine magazine, the Toronto Star, Guardian Australia, Today’s Parent, and This Magazine. I completed an MFA in Creative Nonfiction at King's College, Nova Scotia in 2020 and am working on completing my first book, Chasing Opal.
