I love talking to people. I am naturally and genuinely curious about your life and where you came from. I think people and the experiences they have had make us unique but can also draw us closer together. I am a big proponent of taking the risk because life is short. Visit the new place, reach for the next goal and challenge yourself. It usually won't kill you. I am a big believer in education and that it comes in many different ways. Community college (huge fan), workforce development (we need you!), Four-year university (the connections are invaluable). I also believe in reading to learn new things, taking workshops and classes, seeking out someone who has experieces in life that you are curious about and having a meal with them so they can tell their story. We should always be learning. Don't just live in your own box.The jobs I have had in my life have allowed me to engage with all kinds of people. I have started my own business, I have helped my husband start several of his own businesses, I have worked and volunteered in the non-profit sector, I have managed multi-million dollar ad spends and tiny ad spends, I have knocked on the doors of businesses and homeowners and met many wonderful people on the other side and we have helped each other grow and change. Lastly, I believe in having fun in this life although life is not always fun. There can be joy in all circumstances if we only take the time to look for it.
