Amanda cares relentlessly about using operations to improve frontline jobs and build strong companies. She led the Good Jobs Institute's work with small businesses, helping leaders in retail, restaurants, bakeries, and other service businesses to adopt an operating model that enables higher pay for employees, strong customer loyalty, and strong financial performance. Her writing has been published in Harvard Business Review and industry magazines. She is focused on driving change within the food industry. Previously, Amanda was an early-stage operations leader at several Detroit startups, in real estate tech and autonomous vehicle transportation. It was in this environment that she learned the important distinction between creating jobs and creating good jobs. She received her MBA at the Asia School of Business, an affiliate of MIT Sloan, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
