Assisted the NEC (network Enterprise Center) with the installation of a secure communication capabilities to three battalion head quarters. Conducted bi-monthly secure machine patches and virus scans with the NEC allowing the brigade to operate at a 98% availability rate. Maintained email account and data integrity for over 250 soldiers within the brigade during systems upgrades from Microsoft Windows XP to Microsoft Windows 7. Was able to take the time to train soldiers of the IT section and others soldiers within the unit.
