Currently, I work for the City of Merced Public Works Department as an office assistant ll and have been there for about two years now as a temp employee….I love working with such an amazing group of people which whom I now consider my family. Prior to this position I worked for the Merced City School District as a substitute noon duty supervisor as well as an Instructional Assistant substitute for about a year before COVID came about… I really loved this job but COVID made things quite difficult at the time….(working with kiddos is probably one of my favorite things.)I did get certified as a Phlebotomist and was also on the wait list for the radiology technologist program as well as minoring in Psychology. My work ethic is driven by my need to feel accomplished and well rounded, and helping my employer feel that they have someone they can trust to get the job done. During my 12 years with Strings, I worked many side jobs as well. Bartender, Caregiver, Personal Trainer, and Cleaning service employee were some titles that I held over those years.
