Currently serving as the Executive Director for the Gastonia Police Foundation. The GPF is a non-profit organization that workds to increase excellence in policing while facilitating tangible, positive change in the community. The GPF supports endeavors that work to improve the quality of life. Endeavors include community outreach, employee wellness, professional development, evolving technology, public safety equipment, research, police memorials and youth programs.

Responsible for the establishment, direction and day to day operation of the PARC Division.Facilitate projects, both technical and research oriented to benefit both internal and external partners.Research, write and coordinate grants based on departmental funding needs. Fiscally and programmatically managed over $2,000,000 in grant funding. Organize and manage regional projects to include, but not limited to, 800 Megahertz radio system, Operation PEACE through Project Safe Neighborhoods, GangNET coordination, and Gang Of One Gaston.Accountable for the implementation and maintenance of the CALEA Accreditation program. Evaluate the effectiveness of current policy and procedure and direct the creation and revisions of policy. Design, distribute and analyze needs assessments internally and externally to area partners.Established the Gastonia Police Foundation, Inc. and currently serve as an advisor on the board. Managed the design, construction, fundraising and commemorative ceremony of the Gastonia Police Department Law Enforcement Memorial. Responsible for agency-wide strategic planning initiative to focus on departmental issues; such as technology, community partnerships, community policing, CALEA Accreditation, volunteer management, recruitment and retention.Design, write, edit and publish departmental annual report. Oversee and coordinate hotel contracts, conference-related banquets and overall hospitality for the annual Gastonia Police Department Sniper Conference.Other specialized projects as needed (e.g. annual reporting, police appreciation, etc.).
