Key achievements include:• Established key linkages between the Public Policy Forum and several Australian government departments and agencies, significantly increasing the Forum’s capacity to provide global comparisons in policy work.• Led a project comparing global case studies that engage aboriginal communities in natural resource development, which resulted in the report Realizing the Potential: Global Perspectives on Indigenous Economic Development that included several recommendation to improve Canada’s approach. • Led the first project in Canada to consider public sector productivity, engaging leaders from federal and state governments, the finance sector, academia and leaders in the UK and Australian public sectors. • Convened extensive consultations between state and federal government officials, telecommunication sector leaders, non-profits and indigenous communities to develop a strategy for connectivity in Canada’s three northern territories.
