My nursing career experience includes 4 years of clinical nursing on the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit at Tampa General Hospital, COVID/MedSurg clinical nurse during the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic, as well as one year of Postpartum/Mother-Baby. I recently returned to acute inpatient rehabilitation, which was a passion of mine. As a nurse, I place a great deal of value and consideration in effective communication, patient advocacy, empowerment and education. I have a passion for teaching and enjoy the responsibility of preceptorship. During my career, I have participated in multiple interdisciplinary committees focused on improving nursing care and process improvement. Motivated to continue my professional development as I begin my Masters in Nursing Informatics, as well as pursuing a secondary license in esthiology.
