I had the opportunity to closely observe how companies and civil society organizations (CSOs) structure their portfolios of social and environmental projects. In this role, I routinely reviewed various documents, including Articles of Association, annual and financial reports, as well as certifications and performance indicators.

I wrote biweekly for Gazeta Vargas, the student magazine at FGV, covering news and features on university matters and a wide range of topics, including politics, economics, and social issues, for both the FGV student body and the general public. As part of the journalistic team, I participated in the 2022 Political Coverage, contributing articles on the elections and conducting a political census at the university. Toward the end of the same year, we launched GAZETV, a project aimed at covering FGV events, where I was responsible for editing content published on Instagram and YouTube.Working with Gazeta Vargas enhanced my writing and research skills, especially through working with government websites, databases, and social indicators to ensure my articles were accurate and well-informed. I also developed my abilities in image and video editing, using tools like Canva, Shotcut, and iMovie.Since starting university, I knew I wanted to join Gazeta Vargas, driven by my long-standing interest in journalism and my belief in the power of information to foster critical and analytical thinking. Writing about topics underrepresented in mainstream media, such as the Ethiopian War or the issue of Menstrual Poverty, has been a source of personal fulfillment for me.
