Amanda Ryan is a native Delawarean who grew up in Wilmington and has spent every summer in Rehoboth Beach. She learned at an early age to appreciate the beauty, uniqueness and the relaxed way of life on the Delaware Shore. In 1999, Amanda graduated with honors from Virginia Tech University, where she earned a degree in Fashion Design and Promotional Merchandising.The first 6 years of her career, Amanda worked in Rehoboth in the retail and wholesale fields of the fashion industry. She spent a year and a half managing a well-known boutique, where she learned a great deal about customer service, personnel management as well as image and product promotion. The following 4.5 years saw Amanda employed as a product line manager for a women’s wholesale accessories company. She managed products through the stages of design, development/production, quality control and marketing. Much of her time was spent traveling to New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Dallas, Atlanta, China and Hong Kong, where she worked closely with numerous sales representatives and manufacturers. In 2005, Amanda’s entrepreneurial instincts led her to venture into the marketing/advertising business in hopes of learning about other industries. Sharing her organizational skills and marketing knowledge has allowed Amanda to maintain a successful business of her own, Ryan Consulting. While developing a growing client base for her business, Amanda made a decision to further her education and augment the family income by obtaining her Real Estate License in 2007. For some time now, Amanda has worked on the marketing end of the real estate industry but she is now eagerly learning all aspects of being a Realtor®. Amanda has been blessed with a great family, an adorable labradoodle named Bodhie, a fabulous circle of friends and wonderful opportunities in life.
