Assist and support the underwriting of Broker schemes and facilities portfolios by facilitating and maintaining robust end to end processes that support operational alignment, efficiency, compliance and profitableProvides technical underwriting skills that support renewal retention and initiatives for securing new business. Provide commercially sound, profitable underwriting solutions in line with their delegated authority level. In addition, the role is expected to participate in the creation and maintenance of a supportive technical working environment that allows for knowledge sharing and enables the development of team members and their collective capability.- Build and manage relationships with allocated brokers and agents to retain and build profitable schemes & facilities business- Assist the Sales Manager with developing a strategic approach to their key broker relationships - Maintain underwriting and ethical standards in accordance with market leadership position - Assist the S&F Team in achieving agreed profit and growth targets for allocated broker- Responsible for the underwriting of new business and renewal business including rural risks within the companies underwriting guidelines to selected brokers within delegated authority- Manage the process of authorising broker placings in accordance with company procedures where required - Proactively contribute to improve the image and outcomes of the company within the marketplace to the external customer as well as provide excellent internal customer service. This may involve contributing to or assisting with other projects or initiatives. - Ensure that performance and advice meet and exceed customer satisfaction and advocacy levels - Monitor all relevant customer feedback and report trends to Manage

Proactively managing the renewal of identified customers who present a high risk to the units profitability and risk appetite through application of disciplined underwriting and risk mitigation solutions;- Undertaking the migration of allocated customers from retired product lines to on sale products ensuring that the activity is customer focused and a high retention rate is achieved;- Case management of agreed high value technical customers to ensure customers receive high levels of service and complex elements of account are well understood throughout all sales & service interactions.- Apply a customer focused approach to all renewal activities showing a genuineaffinity to the customer situation and needs- Undertake allocated renewal activity tasks by providing the appropriate solutionsand increasing the customers personal value from the experience- Proactively review existing customer’s policies to ensure full protection is given andto limit underinsurance- Undertake a balanced approach to mitigating high risk customers ensuring theirneeds are met but the units risk appetite is not breached- Ensure the customer interaction exceeds their expectations to achieve contactquality criteria and customer satisfaction targets- Has an understanding of the business needs, it’s vision and values- Manage after contact work to deliver on customer promises
