I am a data engineer who has worked on data platforms using technologies such as Redshift, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, and Prefect. I also have a master's degree in health informatics and a software development background with six years' of experience in backend Web development using Python, the Django Web framework, and both MySQL and PostgreSQL, with deployment to Linux environments. As a necessity on the job, I have also picked up some ability in PHP, clientside Javascript, and server management.My choice of health informatics for further study was inspired by its potential to improve healthcare, thereby making a real impact in the lives of people in need. I am particularly interested in the area of health analytics, hence I am keen to further my skills in data engineering so as to eventually use this for the good of improving healthcare through better health data.I may be reached through email: amanda@aranel.net
