This business was our brainchild and we worked through the design, patenting, licensing, branding, insurance, marketing, production, packaging, and manufacturing together. I always make the joke that we spent the pandemic having a baby and getting our MBA degrees. The business is a huge success and we are very proud of it. This path has led me to where I am today. Passionate about designing toys!I previously worked as the Design Director at Lucas Design a Licensee to Disney Couture Branded Jewelry and Fashion, along with several other Licensed and Private Label Brand lines. I managed a team of 12 LA locals, along with 2 employees based in Hong Kong. I oversaw all our product lines initiated by my own Design vision, inspired by self-lead trend forecasting, brand narrative, design concept strategy and presentation, initial sketches and technical designs, through Licensor Approval, pre-production prototypes and samples, packaging design integration, to QC of production, and finally testing. I have taken many trips to China and Korea to over-see the production facilities, and find new vendors, alongside monthly trips to NYC to work on Designer Collaborations or present collections at Licensor reviews.
