I was selected with two other amazing individuals to be an independent contributor at KOHO. I joined the company with very minimal knowledge of the financial industry and I’m still learning something new every day. I reached CSAT and expected metrics within the first month of starting. I actively engage with users on KOHO’s social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

I am very grateful to have accepted this position right after graduating from university. I oversaw the needs of partners in Quebec, Ottawa and the United States. I initiated and consulted on over 100 purchase orders a day using an ERP system. I Improved customer satisfaction by effectively resolving issues over the phone, via email and in person. I also collaborated with various departments and owned side projects in order to ensure timely arrival of products from China.

This was a student position that introduced me to the world of marketing and how to be a leader. I had an incredible team of 8-10 student promotion team members. I organized their weekly schedules and updated them on upcoming university events. I also liaised with University officials to develop communication and marketing strategies that students would react positively towards.

I started working at Starbucks at 17 years old and said goodbye to this unforgettable company at 21 years old. I was awarded Partner of the Quarter three times. I connected with customers genuinely and effectively on a level beyond simple customer service. I also trained incoming baristas on store procedures, and health and safety standards as a Barista Trainer four months after being hired.

I had the pleasant opportunity to work as a seasonal employee at Indigo during the busy winter season. I created a warm and welcoming environment for customers and coworkers. I learnt the layout of the store to be able to guide customers toward their desired books or products. I also orchestrated the floor layouts that best showcased the arrival of new products.
