I have worked in the education field for the last 14 years and I am currently a School Operations Administrator. Prior to this position I was a Teacher, Staffing Manager(sales and recruiting), and Sales Manager.I have used a combination of skills and knowledge from those prior positions to help me excel in my current position.I am responsible for the daily operations of the school, human resources, payroll, finance, grants, and risk management at the school level where we have over 100 employees and approximately 1150 students. I’m a liaison between school employees and our support center where I work closely with several different departments. I am always looking for ways to save the schools money. In May 2022 I was able to strategize and save our 3 schools a combination of about $100,000 that we were going to lose in grant funded money. I’m a natural teacher, leader, and mentor. I love learning new skills and helping other people along the way. I have a bachelors degree in Business Management with a focus on Human Resources. I also hold a current Professional Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education K-6. I have been a teacher in a charter school, private school, and in a public school. I won new teacher of the year for 2013-2014 school year. I pride myself on being a professional who is ethical, honest, and hard working. I believe in treating people well and having great working relationships. I always go above and beyond to accomplish my goals, and meet deadlines. In my personal time I love spending time with my family, traveling, reading, and exercising.
