Manage the design, construction, maintenance, and monitoring of habitat restoration projects throughout the NYC metro area and the northeast. Served as a subject matter expert for large-scale renewable energy projects in New York State with a focus on landscape aesthetics and agrivoltaics.The Office of Renewable Energy Siting (ORES) is instrumental in helping New York State meet the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (CLCPA) policy goals, the most ambitious climate legislation in the United States. ORES is responsible for implementing and executing a streamlined permitting process for renewable energy projects in New York State greater than 25 megawatts.

Founded the sustainable landscaping company Plan it Wild, dedicated to the restoration of habitat throughout the yards and open spaces of Westchester County. Oversaw all aspects of the company and led the startup and operation of the small business including assembling an expert team of professionals while forging partnerships with a diversity of external experts and environmental organizations.Spearheaded the launch of a zero emission lawn care membership plan, the first of its kind in Westchester, signing up over 30 clients in year one. Maintained client relationships, launched new programs, and implemented strategies to reduce our clients’ carbon footprints including delivery of EcoReports detailing the # of native trees and their carbon sequestration values.Tracked data to monitor progress and achieve goals while staying updated on research related to best management practices for native plantings, stewardship, and carbon storage in the landscape. Applied to several grants & investment opportunities as a woman-run sustainable startup, including the J.M.K. Innovation Prize; out of 2,826 applicants we were in the top 10% selected to move from the 1st to 2nd round.
