Current• Responsible for the weekly, monthly and annual schedule including all programming and events • Develop and oversee the vision of new programs and ensure that all goals are being met• Manage all social media outreach and advertising• Manage grants and funding opportunities• Manage Family Matters: LGBTQ Youth Perspectives, a photography exhibition by Carolyn Sherer and its premier at the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute as well as the 2015-2017 exhibition tour.• Cultivate strong community partnerships in order to deliver the highest quality of varied services to the communityThe Magic City Acceptance Center (MCAC) provides safe and affirming space for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) youth ages 13-24, as well as children and adults in the Birmingham area.
