At Dwolla, I managed new employee on boarding -- I on boarded over 70 employees. My work included the creation and maintenance of materials for new associates, coordination of arrangements for new employee start, facilitation of on boarding meetings and post-start follow-up. In addition, I participated in compensation and company payroll by ensuring accurate administration and timely processing of the information. I also lead the new hire benefits selection process by introducing plans to new employees, preparing and delivering paperwork, entering the data and supporting the process by answering questions after a plan goes live. In 2018 and 2019 I administered open enrollment to around 100 employees. Furthermore, I was responsible for maintaining and updating the employee data on Dwolla's human resources system, BambooHR, while ensuring accuracy, integrity and confidentiality. My greatest pride was piloting Dwolla's first Employee Satisfaction Survey in 2019, which increased employee's voice in the workplace.

I assisted undergraduate and graduate students in the creation of written, oral, visual, and electronic works, and provide motivation and learning techniques during sessions lasting 30 minutes to an hour. Additionally, I lead discussion sessions with 15 peer tutors, covering in-depth concepts and topics such as communication skills, writing methods, and analytical thinking.

I aided HR rep in the implementation of a new job profile and the shift of over 150 employees moving to the role, affecting locations in both domestic and international areas. I analyzed employee data to determine new salaries and market ratios based on the employee’s band and grade. In addition, I facilitated numerous employee exit interviews and provided guidance and documentation for three department re-orgs.

I tracked and managed absences in accordance with law and policy, and explained leave requirements to employees and followed up to ensure proper communication and compliance within the company. Furthermore I determined the leave structure based on the employee’s eligibility and maintained paperwork through the duration of the leave status.

I provided customer service through email and phone outlets, while providing basic clerical duties, such as Microsoft Office applications. Additionally I worked closely with staff to establish an environment of growth and education for undergraduates and graduates by handling questions, daily issues, and keeping files confidential for students.

I developed customer relations with 30 customers daily by having a positive attitude and providing great customer service, while also managing the inflow and outflow of stock, ensuring the selling floor maintained a sufficient inventory, and handling various financial transactions.
