Strategic Planning and Policy Coordination Division.Planned, researched and developed a comprehensive departmental strategy entitled, Outreach for Growth - A Resource Education and Public Outreach Strategy for Mines and Energy.

Geological Survey of Newfoundland and Labrador.-Planned, developed and coordinated education and public outreach programs and events.-Chaired and Coordinated Newfoundland and Labrador Mining Week (2009-2013) events, celebrating the role the mining and minerals resource industry plays in our daily life, to the province, and society at large.-Chaired and founded the Newfoundland and Labrador Women in Mining Forum (2009-2013), a highly successful educational career forum profiling industry leaders from the mining and mineral resource industry. The annual forum addressed diversity in the industry and consisted of a panel discussion and industry-student networking session and luncheon.-Created and authored the NL Women in Mining Career Connections Guide (2014) to commemorate the fifth year anniversary of the Women in Mining Forum. This educational tool profiled some of the industry's leading female workers and shared their personal stories and insights.-Coordinated the Newfoundland and Labrador Rock and Mineral Kits (2011) to compliment updated provincial curriculum requirements. This educational resource kit profiled more than 40 rocks and minerals showing the province's world-class geology and diverse mineral deposits.
